Antique Porcelain Flapper Girl Shaving Brush with Badger Hair European antique chest with iron handlesc. 1920s; Germany Antique figural porcelain shaving brush. This piece has a porcelain handle that features the full form of a 1920s flapper girl with the characteristic bob haircut and billowy outfit. The stiff brush portion is believed to be badger hair and is shaped with a flat shaped knot. This shape mimicked painting, and the user could apply shaving cream with broad strokes over large areas. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some frayed
